If you've read my piece on podcasts to keep you inspired, you'll know that I am a self-proclaimed podcast junkie.

The easy, hands-free (ahem embroidery-friendly) format makes podcasts my favorite way of consuming knowledge, I go through countless episodes every week. Most of the shows I'm subscribed to are US-based, but lately this form of media has been on the rise regionally as well, with many new shows budding courtesy of the Covid lockdown.

All of this to say that I was very excited when a local show, The Matrix Green Pill reached out for an interview.

Each week the podcast showcases inspirational and motivational stories, featuring the fascinating journeys of real people – those impacting the lives of others, for good, including entrepreneurs and innovators who are influencing and shaping the future of our region. Each of them unique in their own way.

Guests share their stories including their highs and lows, as well as their challenges and achievements as well as their Green Pill Moment – that defining moment that changed their lives.

During my conversation with the founder, Hilmarie, I spill secrets about the world of fast fashion, including tips on how to recognize quality clothing. I also get personal with my Green Pill Moment, sharing the journey that led to me to start Glitches and Stitches.
