A Vast Expanse, Natalya Konforti, 2023, 40x48cm, Acrylic paint and photo print on alucobond
Photographed in Wadi Rum, this work reflects on geological permanence and slow transformation. The layered rock formations, shaped by immense pressure and erosion, mirror the tension between endurance and impermanence within human experience. Through a dialogue between photographic precision and abstraction, the artwork examines memory, time, and humanity’s evolving relationship with the natural landscape.
Shortlisted for the Art Circle Award, 2023.
